How to file a claim

1. 

   Submit your claim

   You typically need to include the following with your claim:

   • Your name, address, phone number, and your policy number

   • The date and time the incident occurred, as well as the location

   • Photos of any damage to your vehicle and the other driver's vehicle (if applicable)

   • Copies of the police report, if available

2. 

   Work with your insurance adjuster

   A Progressive claims adjuster will contact you to review your claim, the details of the accident or incident, and determine what coverage may apply. After investigating and reviewing the coverage you have, they'll tell you how much you can expect to receive for your injuries or repairs.

3. 

   Use claim funds to repair or replace your vehicle

   You can take your vehicle to any licensed mechanic for repairs. If your vehicle is totaled, you'll receive a check or deposit for your claim payout.
